Adempiere open source software is attracting significant interest. With the maturity of the open source industry and the increasing interest and focus by government departments in Australia and worldwide, demand for skilled resources is also increasing.

Success Solutions has provided resources for a major ERP implementation using Adempiere. In parallel with the ERP implementation there was the related development of a warehouse interface. Karl Buderus, the project manager, managed this project as he would any other software implementation project. As no two projects are the same he seeks out as early as possible the idiosyncrasies of the project. With this project there were idiosyncrasies some of which come with open source.
